Rising Hollywood star Lisa Jay was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, and
raised in Boise, Idaho. She enjoyed a very down-to-earth upbringing,
active in athletics and enjoying the Idaho outdoors. At fifteen Lisa was
scouted by a modeling agent at a career fair, and after graduating early
from high school, was soon globetrotting between the U.S. and Japan doing
fashion and catalogue work. Opportunity came knocking, and before long
Lisa found herself in Hollywood.
Lisa’s television career started off with a bang seducing James Marsters
in a memorable role on the last season of the cult phenomenon Buffy
the Vampire Slayer.

She recurred for over a year on the popular television soap Days
of Our Lives, and since then has been showing up all over
television, including popular prime-time shows such as Medium,
CSI: New York, Big Shots, Veronica Mars, Las Vegas,
The Game, Two and A Half Men, Monk, and
Everybody Hates Chris. Lisa has appeared in numerous commercial
spots for major brands such as Toyota, Lincoln Mercury,
Taco Bell, Michelob Ultra, and Bud Light, and
continues to enjoy a successful modeling career in between television
appearances.
Lisa has also been busy making her exciting foray
into film. Lisa stars in the upcoming feature film Spring Break
’83, working alongside great talents such as John Goodman and
Joey Pantoliano. While working on Spring Break, Lisa had the
opportunity to get to know Mr. Pantoliano and to learn of his non-profit
organization
No Kidding,
Me Too!
Having personal experience with mental illness in her own family, Lisa
was moved and inspired by NKM2’s message of the need to educate the
public, empower those suffering with mental illness, and remove the
stigma attached to brain “dis-ease”. In
September of 2009 Lisa joined Joey on the historical ‘Stomp
the Stigma Tour’, visiting US military bases in Iraq and speaking
to troops about mental health. Lisa sits on the
advisory board of the No Kidding, Me Too Foundation and is
committed to their continued efforts.
When she’s not playing pretend or striking a pose, Lisa keeps both feet
planted firmly on the ground by reading, writing, being involved with
charitable organizations, and calling her parents in Idaho daily. She
stays active by running and hiking, and is a devout student of power
yoga. Currently Lisa can be seen starring in the exciting new FOX pilot
and web series Tease, viewable on FOX’s 15Gigs online
channel on Hulu.com.
